Waiting on Client Feedback? Send This to Move It Along

Published September 24, 2026

How to Use a Script

Four steps:

  1. Watch the video once.
  2. Copy the script. Change the names, dates, and numbers to match your project.
  3. Say it out loud until it sounds like you. Use the practice sheet if the page has one.
  4. Use it in the real conversation, in the email or on the call.

The Script

Word for word, as said in the video. Copy it and change the names, dates, and numbers to match your project.

Quick update on the mechanical design package. We submitted the HVAC drawings for your review on April 1st. To keep the project on schedule, we need your feedback by April 8th.

If we do not receive comments by then, the construction bid date will extend by one week. That impacts the overall timeline, so the sooner we can get your input, the better. Let me know if you need clarification on any of the drawings, or if a review call would help move things along.
