How to Use a Script

Four steps:

  1. Watch the video once.
  2. Copy the script. Change the names, dates, and numbers to match your project.
  3. Say it out loud until it sounds like you. Use the practice sheet if the page has one.
  4. Use it in the real conversation, in the email or on the call.

The Script

Word for word, as said in the video. Copy it and change the names, dates, and numbers to match your project.

ScriptFollow-Up Email After No Response: Friendly, Neutral, or Firm

Friendly, neutral, or firm. One follow-up message, three ways to send it.

  1. A. Friendly. Hi team, following up on hanger clearance for level three due today. I need it by 11 AM your time tomorrow to keep the routing package on schedule, and your crew gets final drawings sooner once it is out. Thanks for confirming.
  2. B. Neutral. Following up on hanger clearance for level three due today. I need your confirmation by 11 AM your time tomorrow to keep the routing package on schedule, so your crew works from final drawings.
  3. C. Firm. Hanger clearance for level three is due today, and I do not have confirmation. I need it by 11 AM your time tomorrow to keep the routing package on schedule. Every day without it is a day your crew spends on drawings that will change.
